Story of AP company~~Telstra
It is based on my experiance dealing with the company for almost 2 years already,from december 2007 until mid year 2009.(im actually the same bench of dealer for telstra like jssim).
Tthe basic is,sometimes,they provide recond phones.(i dun know if im the only dealer who got conned,or maybe other dealer)..i came thorugh this 4 times..1 with nokia 5300 n 3 times with sony ericsson(all with tatto phones)..
The price of course cheaper,n they dun do extensive checking before selling it out..sometimes i got phone,which is not unlocked yet.& most of the sony ericsson phones that i took from them will got into problem,usually after 3 months..(common problem is buzzer,speaker,ribbon),sometimes got i.c problem..
For warranty claim,i can say it is quite good.they will check on spot if got problem,n show u.(i dont know whether it is applicable only for their dealer).but,they will take into account the simplest things.if they found only a little spot of yellowish color at the back side of the phone keypad,they will immediately claim ur phone got water damage.that the one example that i can share.in other word,they will try to find excuse not to repair. i think,this goes to all ap company,so ,the best way is to find company that selling phones with the lowest risk to get problem (extensive checking). my recommendation for peace of mind,just go with the original.
That the limitation that i can share with u..if u think that i just making the story,u can try confirm with other telstra dealer these thing: 1) the office of telstra is at jln ipoh(exact location cannot be revealed),the service centre is low yat,in front of csl n comsat.there 1 aunty the at the counter..n i think most of the dealer dealing with miss lok(the one who control order of dealer)..
